Multi-grain Rice is a great sources of complex carbohydrates, fiber and various vitamins and minerals such as selenium, potassium and magnesium. Because this rice is coarser and not overly processed, it is a great source of fiber and, as a result, fills you up faster and for longer, without causing a sudden spike in blood-sugar. This is a much better source of carbohydrate than normal refined grains and pastas.
